Naviance - career and college planning

Family Connection at Naviance is Healdsburg High's preferred management tool for all post-secondary planning tasks.

The personality type inventory, as it relates to careers, is a particularly useful tool that we highly encourage you and your family to use! Naviance provides information on college deadlines, links to applications and college websites, and the schedule of college rep visits. We also have the list of scholarships offered at HHS.

Through Family Connection, parents will be able to view information regarding their student´s progress in the application process, information about college visits to our school and general information about colleges and scholarships.

Click on Naviance to get to the login page.

Role of Healdsburg High School Counselors

As emphasized in the American School Counseling Association (ASCA) national standards, Healdsburg High Counselors are meant to address the barriers students have to learning, both educational learning and life-long learning.

The Healdsburg High school counseling department adopts techniques for addressing all students' various and many issues that effect their abilities to perform in an educational environment both academically and socially.

Our counselors assess the needs of high school students by being a part of curriculum development, assessment of educational needs on an individual basis, intervention and counseling for students who are dealing with issues effecting learning, and helping students explore the world that lies beyond high school graduation, such as the world of work or post-secondary education.

Healdsburg High school counselors provide information and services to help students learn what kind of post-graduation careers may be available and they may aid students in the application process for post-secondary education. Please do not hesitate to contact your school counselor for more information.
