AP English
Bullet in the Brain by Tobias Wolff
Welcome AP students and parents!
Our syllabus is located to the right of this page under the resource locker and there are two of them: AP Syllabus short version, and my original AP syllabus sketched out for the entire year. Changes have been made since I created the original. Each year I add and subtract books, or plays, or poems read in an attempt to try and stay current with AP standards and expectations. I am asking for students to check out of the library or purchase for themselves two books over the course of the year: The Poisonwood Bible by Barbara Kingsolver for first semester and another novel to be announced second semester
Please feel free to email me at jlinker@husd.com for any questions or suggestions.
I sincerely hope your child's year in AP English is thought provoking, challenging, and full of academic intrigue.
