Marce Becerra Academy

Marce Becerra Academy (MBA), is located on the Healdsburg High campus. MBA provides an educational opportunity for students wishing to complete their high school experience in a smaller, more individualized, and non‐traditional setting. Enrollment is prioritized for students who are credit deficient and in jeopardy of not graduating with their class. MBA follows the Big Picture Learning model for alternative schools, www.bigpicture.org, which focuses upon a student interest driven course of study.

Big Picture students intern with experts in their field of interest, completing authentic projects and gaining experience and exposure to how their interests intersect with the real world. Credits are earned through real world experiences, academic exploration and authentic exhibits of their growth and learning.
