California Healthy Kids Survey

All students in Grades 9 and 11 will be asked to take the California Healthy Kids Survey at school during the month of April. The California Department of Education requires us to ask students about alcohol, tobacco, and other drug issues, as well as questions about school safety and the learning environment. Participation in the survey is voluntary on the part of the student. We hope you will encourage your child to participate so that his or her opinion and knowledge can be part of the information gleaned from the survey. We use information from the surveys to plan for school safety and to continue to shift the educational program to address any issues reflected in the survey results.

The survey is anonymous. No names or any other identifying information is connected to the answers except for the name of the school.  If you wish to view the survey, you may do so at the school office or on-line at:

https://chks.wested.org/resources/chks-hs-core-1314.pdf (English)

https://chks.wested.org/resources/chks-hs-core-span-1314.pdf (Spanish)

If you wish to opt-out of having your child take this survey please click here to print the form, sign and return it to the main office at HHS no later than April 10th.  The students will be taking this survey in their English classes during the week of April 14th.  If you have questions, please contact Kestrel Davis, Vice Principal, Healdsburg High School.

BrightBytes Technology Survey

We are partnering with BrightBytes in order to learn more about our students’ school and home technology use for learning.

We are reaching out to ask you to take part in our questionnaire. Your participation is essential in helping us form a more complete picture of technology use for learning in our students’ lives. Please know that all of your responses will remain anonymous to protect your privacy and they will help your child's school choose the right technology for their classrooms. It will take approximately 5 minutes to complete.  The last day to complete this questionnaire is April 25th.

Please go this address to complete the survey: www.BByt.es/RE4RP
BrightBytes is an educational data analytics company. Learn more about them HERE.

We will also be surveying our students this Spring in order to get their input on technology.  Thank you for taking part in this important initiative.
